Pause Parent Play was created with the goal of helping parents and caregivers easily control what children watch, hear and play -- from TV and movies to video games and music. This campaign is designed to empower parents and caregivers by connecting them with easy-to-use resources. Supported by members of Congress, corporations, entertainment companies and family groups, Pause Parent Play encourages parents and caregivers to:

PAUSE: Take a minute and think about how children might react to TV, movies, video games or music.

PARENT: Decide what is appropriate and talk with children about what media is right for them.

PLAY: Enjoy media as a family.

Pause Parent Play.org provides parents a one-stop media shop. Covering a range of topics from new movie ratings and reviews to guides on controlling TV and satellite radio content, the site connects parents and caregivers with both independent and industry resources.
